If you bought bottles of Deeside mineral or sparkling water in Waitrose, ‘do not drink it’, the Food Standards Agency has warned.
The bottles could contain shards of glass, with the potential to injure anyone sipping it.
Signs will be put up in stores warning people about the safety risk, which relates to 750ml bottles.
Customers who bought it are warned to not consume it, package it up, and return it to their local store for a full refund.
Waitrose said: ‘We apologise that it has been necessary to recall this product and for the inconvenience caused.’

The Food Standards Agency said: ‘Waitrose is recalling Waitrose No1 Deeside Mineral Water and Waitrose No1 Deeside Sparkling Water because of the possible presence of glass fragments upon opening the bottles.
The product may contain glass which may cause injury and makes it unsafe to drink.’
