The family of a mother and daughter who were killed in a car crash have paid tribute to ‘the most beautiful two souls you could ever meet’.
Mary Michelle Devine, 43, and her daughter Theia, both from Portsmouth, were killed in a collision on the A3 last week.
Emergency services were called just after 10am on Thursday 19 February after their red Ford Fiesta left the carriageway on the A3 southbound, just after Hindhead Tunnel.
The pair were sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Their family has now paid tribute to them in a statement saying: ‘Our family mourn the most beautiful two souls you could ever meet.

‘Our beautiful, beloved little Theia who had so much confidence and life in her and our crazy Michelle who was vibrant and had a heart of gold.
‘We truly love them and will miss them everyday. They both had so much personality and so many loved ones, our hearts are broken.’

Another relative posted on Facebook: ‘I’m sorry Thiea you never got a chance to grow up and become the amazing woman you were destined to be but I promise your big blue eyes and your cheeky little smile will come with me everywhere I go from now till the end of my time here.
‘I will try to live a life worthy of even half of how worthy you and your gorgeous little soul are. Love you all to absolute infinity.’

Another cousin wrote on Facebook: ‘Theia, from the day you were born, I always knew the love would be different.
‘You’re an angel — your smile lit up any room you walked into. I’m so happy we got to do so many cool things together.

‘The bond we three had over the last few months has truly left an imprint on my heart that will never fade.
He added: ‘I wish I could take you to the park one more time, take you out for your birthday again, or even let you pick on me.’
A police spokeswoman said: ‘Our investigation into the circumstances that led to this collision are ongoing.
‘If there are any witnesses or motorists with relevant dash cam footage that have not yet come forward, please call 101 quoting reference 44260083669.’
